We collect and process the following information to provide our engineering assessment services:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Email addresses provided during the checkout or contact process.
  • Technical Site Data: Postcodes, MPANs, property types, and electrical equipment specifications (e.g., EV chargers, heat pumps, ALM controllers) entered into our calculator.
  • Financial Data: Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Gridcap does not store, process, or have access to your full credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for the following operational purposes:

  • To mathematically calculate network headroom and generate your ALM Feasibility Report.
  • To email you the final PDF engineering dossier.
  • To provide customer support and respond to inquiries submitted via our contact form.
  • To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or site data. We only share data with essential third-party service providers required to operate our business (e.g., our payment processor Stripe, and transactional email providers). These providers act as data processors and are strictly bound by confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Security & Retention

We deploy strict technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access to your data. Site assessments (PDFs and associated MPAN/Postcode data) are retained temporarily on our secure servers to facilitate email delivery and support requests, after which they are routinely purged.
